I am so excited my YouTube for real estate agent course is about to launch and I’m going to tell you all about it right now.

Hey everyone, welcome back to my blog. I’m Karin Carr, a REALTOR® with Georgia Coast Homes and Keller Williams in Savannah Georgia and I have been experiencing great success over the last year using YouTube for Real Estate. If this is your first time here you might want to watch this video right up there.

I was talking about how video has completely exploded my business and I asked if anybody would be interested in taking an online course on how to use YouTube to grow your real estate business and get more clients. I had a huge, huge response so I made the darn course. And guess what? It’s done!

Oh and by the way, I’m gonna be speaking  – I’m so excited! –  speaking at Inman Connect in San Francisco the week of 7/16/18 all about using YouTube for Real Estate  to grow your business. So if you’re gonna be at Inman come see me.

Thank you to those of you that were beta testers for me. I really appreciate all of your feedback. I made the changes that you suggested with the YouTube for real estate course and now on July 12th, 2018 this baby is going live!

YouTube for Real Estate is easier than you think. It’s not that hard. I know people think. I don’t want to be on camera and I hate how my voice sounds, but trust me.  I’m not a young ones, I’m nothing fabulous to look at, I’m kind of a goofball, and yet my phone rings all the time. So don’t you want to do that? Would you like to attract business instead of chasing business? Do you really want to spend two hours a day calling expireds?

I personally don’t really enjoy that. I much prefer it when I answer the phone and they say, “Hey, I found your YouTube channel, I watched all your videos, this is great information, I’ve just been made a job offer in Savannah, we’re gonna be moving there, we’re coming in August, we are already pre-approved for $400,000, could you meet with us when we come to town?”  I don’t know… the whole shift of the dynamic is that they’re asking to work with me instead of me begging for their business. It’s awesome and you know how long it took that happen?

It’s been one year since I committed to making weekly videos but it started happening a lot sooner. I have been making weekly videos since June of 2017. It is now July of 2018 and I can honestly say without making up any statistics, without any bragging, you know, not trying to be all, “Hey, look at me, I’m so fabulous on video!” I’m just telling you that this is what it has done for my business.

I do zero prospecting. I do not call FSBO’s. I do not call expireds. I do not door knock. I do not mail out expensive newsletters to my entire farm every single month to the tune of $300 or $400. I don’t do that. I do run Facebook ads now and then, mostly to say hey I’ve got a new listing coming soon or hey it just sold, do you want to find out what your home is worth? I do not rely on those ads to be the majority of leads coming in to my business.

Instead I make videos like how to save money on your property taxes. Are you moving to Savannah? Here are 10 reasons why you should. So I’m just trying to make very helpful videos that people will search for and that is the key! You need to make videos that people are searching for.

I’m getting probably at least 80% of my closings, NOT LEADS, closings from my YouTube channel which is huge. So in this course I’m going to do a whole bunch of video modules so that you can learn all about YouTube for real estate. We’re gonna do a module telling you what you need as far as equipment and where to buy it, what your videos should be about, how do you figure out what those videos should be about? How do you get ideas for what the videos should be about? What is the filming process? What is the editing process? How do you promote it? How do you make people find those videos? And then how to start reaping the rewards of this phenomenal business model.

I can’t even tell you how fantastic it’s been for me.  I mean, I knew video is huge. I mean we all know video is huge, but I just didn’t know what it was going to do for me until a couple of months in when my phone started ringing. So I’m gonna link to the sign up page here.

I am going to be offering this YouTube for Real Estate course 50% off for the first couple of weeks that it is offered because I want a whole bunch of people to sign up for it and give me some feedback and let me know if it’s helping you in any way to start attracting business to you instead of having to chase it all the time.

Thank you so much for considering it and I will see you on the next one!
