According to a new study by Niche, Ball Ground is officially ranked as #1 on their list of the safest towns in Atlanta.
With low crime rates in the categories of robbery, burglary, assault, and vehicle theft, among others, Ball Ground received high marks all around. Niche’s study analyzed data obtained from the US Census Bureau and FBI statistics as well.
AreaVibes gives Ball Ground an A+ for crime, a B+ for weather, and B’s for housing and employment. It gets a livability score of 76, which they say means it’s “extremely livable.”
Some other of the safest towns in Atlanta outside the perimeter and on the north side of the city that scored very highly were Milton, Johns Creek, and Holly Springs.
Just outside the top 10 were Woodstock, Alpharetta, Canton, and Kennesaw. Yet another reason why this is a terrific place to live!
Here are some of the specific crime statistics supporting exactly why Niche feels these are the safest towns in Atlanta. All rates are per 100,000 residents. Murder rates were not included as they were all at 0 or near 0 per 100,000 residents.
