Hi, I’m Karin
I stared at listing photos too
When I moved to Georgia in 2015, I did what you’re probably doing right now. I stared at listing photos, read every neighborhood review I could find, and wondered what nobody was telling me.
That’s why I started my YouTube channel. I wanted to give relocating buyers the information I wished I’d had. The good, the bad, and the weird stuff nobody mentions until after you’ve unpacked.
I’m not here to sell you on Savannah
Savannah is a wonderful place to live. It’s also not the right place for everyone.
I’d much rather help you figure that out before you buy a house than talk you into moving here because I want a commission. No commission breath. Promise.
Whether you’re relocating, downsizing, buying closer to the grandkids, helping a parent move, or selling a home you’ve loved for years, my approach is pretty simple:
- I give you the information.
- I explain the tradeoffs.
- I answer the questions (even the awkward ones).
- You make the decision.
The right house in the wrong area is still the wrong house
This is why I love our relocation strategy calls. Before we talk about a single house, I want to know what you want your life here to look like. Then we narrow down the communities that actually fit.
Because a listing can tell you the square footage. It can’t tell you:
- what the commute feels like at 4:30 on a Friday,
- whether that adorable historic house will make you crazy with maintenance, or
- whether the neighborhood you loved on vacation feels the same when you live there full time.
That’s where local experience matters. My job is to fill in the blanks.
